Adobe, adobe, adobe....

I'm befuddled that you fail to mention Eclipse integration upgrades. There are several projects in the works now that will take Flex integration to the next level...in my humble opinion, Adobe should completely drop Flex Builder and push just the Eclipse plug-in - I'll be very surprised if they don't on the next release...

Cheers, Eric.

Thanks for this post Juan, really insightful and, just as well, got me to look at grabbing a copy of Fireworks for skinning Flex and laying out mxml.

Great post and you have some very good thoughts regarding your workflow, I haven't used Fireworks for 4-5 years now but I might take a look at it again.

As far as version control. At my agency we use SVN for all our projects and we try to have the designers use it as well. TortoiseSVN client is an amazing free application and it really makes it easy to work with a repository without having to go into geek mode (command line).

One of my goals over the last year has been to involve designers more in the skinning aspect of flex projecs. So far it has not really taken off but I'm hoping that with Thermo we will get a step closer.
